Gloucestershire is home. We are based in Prestbury on the edge of Cheltenham, so Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bishop's Cleeve and Tewkesbury are all a short drive rather than a day out. If you are in that stretch and your heating has stopped, ring us. We would rather tell you on the phone that we can be there this afternoon than have you sit and wait for an email.
A lot of Cheltenham is Regency and Victorian, and the housing stock shapes the job. Tall terraces and converted townhouses tend to come with pipework that has been added to by several people over several decades, flue runs that have to be thought about rather than just drilled, and conservation constraints on anything that shows from the street. None of that is a problem, but it is the difference between a swap that takes a morning and one that needs planning properly first.
Out into the Cotswolds it changes again. A good number of villages between Stow, Northleach and Cirencester have no mains gas at all, so heating there means oil, or occasionally LPG. We are OFTEC registered as well as Gas Safe, so an oil-fired boiler is ordinary work for us rather than something we have to refer on.
